LGBT Youth Scotland Live Chat

About this tool

LGBT Youth Scotland offers a LiveChat feature on their website. Young people can chat with trained youth workers in real time about whatever is on their mind. This could be questioning their sexual identity, coming out, relationship issues, bullying, and sexual health. It is a private place designed for people to have a confidential chat with a digital youth worker.

How it works

When LiveChat sessions are running, a pop-up box will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of LGBT Youth Scotland’s website, which will say “Chat now”. To begin a conversation, click Chat Now and then enter your first message – this could be a question, a topic, or just saying “Hi”.

Sessions run at the following times:

  • Monday: 4 pm to 6 pm
  • Tuesday: 4 pm to 8 pm
  • Wednesday 4 pm to 8 pm
  • Thursday: 4 pm to 8 pm
